A Brief Overview
Oversees instructional design projects effort.Creates interactive learning solutions for associates firm-wide.Designs, develops, and delivers effective and engaging learning interventions that impact performance.Partners with both VP and Director of Talent Development in addition to business leaders in order to drive talent management and leadership development strategies, tools, and processes in the disciplines of talent assessment, competency identification, development planning, and training in order to meet the business needs of the company.

Responsibilities

What you will do

  • Develops the learning organization culture and evaluates program effectiveness.
  • Determines associate development needs to ensure the overall training experience is positive.
  • Conducts classroom and virtual training programs and presents to large and small groups, including new hire onboarding and orientation. Serves as a conduit to instill corporate values, culture, and history for all associates.
  • Evaluates program effectiveness and collaborates with team members to ensure program consistency firm-wide. Ensures associates are being provided with all the necessary training, tools, and support to be effective in their roles.
  • Develops, designs, and analyzes materials such as lesson plans, content, learning objectives, and assessment both virtual and instructor-led programs firm-wide.
  • Analyzes and evaluates talent development needs to identify performance, skills, and knowledge gaps.
  • Onboards new associates in a way that ensures they feel welcomed and are enculturated into the organization.
  • Enhances associate satisfaction and facilitates effective learning.
  • Serves region as a neutral party for novice employee relations issues, escalating more complex issues to Human Resource management.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or related discipline. Required
  • 4-6 years of working as a training professional. Required
  • 4-6 years of working in legal and client service role. Plus
  • Understanding of Talent Development strategies and initiatives. (Required proficiency)
  • Advanced understanding of the legal industry including types of ADR, court processes, and legal terminology. (Required proficiency)
  • Proficient in all software programs required for the position. (Required proficiency)
