The Project Manager is a highly organized and results-driven individual who will oversee and lead complex projects for all company departments from conception to completion. The Project Manager will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record of managing complex projects within budget and on schedule. The Project Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are achieved efficiently.

Responsibilities

What you will do

  • Leads, influences, and motivates JAMS cross-departmental teams to complete assigned projects on time, to specifications, and with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Develops detailed project plans including scope, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Acts as a liaison between JAMS associates and vendors. Addresses questions, concerns, and/or complaints throughout the project.
  • Communicates and collaborates with teams to ensure the appropriate project team members and owners are identified and assigned to the applicable tasks and responsibilities.
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders, providing regular project updates and managing expectations.
  • Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and adhere to project requirements.
  • Generate detailed project reports, including status, performance metrics, budget, and post-project evaluations.
  • Builds, maintains, and communicates company initiatives master calendar and oversees and manages company subscriptions.
  • Conducts risk assessments; reports identified risks to management; provides recommendations for mitigation of risk.
  • Ensures compliance with the legal team regarding company standards and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Project Management, or a related field. Required
  • 5-7 years related experience in project management. Required
  • 3+ years experience in business management or other related field. Plus
  • 1-3 years experience in the legal industry. Plus
  • PMP, PgMP, CAPM, and/or comparable project management certifications. (Plus proficiency)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. (Required proficiency)
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. (Required proficiency)
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. (Required proficiency)
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. (Required proficiency)

  • Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn about the project or product being developed. (Required proficiency)
