A Brief Overview


The JAMS Foundation Program Manager is responsible for the administration and development of Foundation-funded initiatives. Explores and researches funding opportunities and potential areas of interest for Foundation support. Reviews Foundation operations and suggests potential refinements or changes to the Managing Director. Provides input and perspective on Foundation efforts and planning.

 

Responsibilities


What you will do

  • Establish and develop relationships with current and potential program partners, grant recipients, funding partners, and other Foundation-connected colleagues.
  • Researches potential new areas for grant funding or other Foundation support.
  • Assist with Foundation administration, marketing, promotion, and management of Foundation-funded initiatives.
  • Act as a liaison between JAMS and JAMS Foundation marketing efforts.
  • Maintain and manage augmentations to the Foundation website.
  • Assist with the planning and administration of the Weinstein JAMS International Fellows week.
  • Respond to requests for Foundation-funded ADR educational materials.
  • Attend Foundation Board meetings and draft Board minutes.
  • Acts as the "face of JAMS" in the non-profit community when opportunities arise.
  • Assists the Managing Director, JAMS Foundation & JAMS Institute, with projects as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Management, or related field. Required
  • 3-5 years of working with or in non-profit communities. Required
  • 3-5 years of working in the field(s) of Alternative Dispute Resolution and/or continuing education, or comparable experience. Preferred
  • Verbal and written communication skills. (Required proficiency)
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in all software programs. (Required proficiency)
  • Knowledge of ADR and/or non-profit communities. (Preferred proficiency)
