A Brief Overview
Supports clients, associates, and neutrals with high-level service while maintaining business policies and procedures. Ensures timely and accurate billing. Maintains ownership of assigned account portfolios to reduce delinquencies, and other matters relating to accounts receivable and collections.

Responsibilities

What you will do

  • Collects specific portfolio of delinquent accounts utilizing appropriate collection techniques.
  • Resolves and negotiates disputes; reconciles complex billing.
  • Generates bills to clients for scheduled events, services rendered, and incurred expenses.
  • Analyzes collection activity and makes decisions for write off and agency submissions.
  • Evaluates and resolves client issues relating to billing and statements.
  • Reviews outstanding items and coordinates with the Resolution Centers to ensure timely billing.
  • Handles client requests for copies of invoices, statements, and tax forms.

  • Handles some accounts receivable functions when needed.

  • Other duties as assigned within similar scope.

Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree in Business Administration, Professional Sales, or related discipline. (Preferred)
  • 3-5 years of working in accounts receivable, billing, and collections. (Required)
  • 3-5 years of working in a client service role/strong client orientation. (Required)
  • 3-5 years of working in legal industry or attorney interface skills. (Preferred)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs. (Preferred)
  • Computer skills in MS Word and MS Excel reporting as well as 10-key by touch, and a typing speed of 50 wpm. (Preferred)
  • Proficient basic math skills. (Preferred)
  • Proficient in NetSuite. (Preferred)
  • Understanding of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) processes and procedures. (Preferred)
