A Brief Overview
Leads and manages the Arbitration Team through the consolidation, standardization, and elevation of the commencement of all arbitrations. Directs the Arbitration Team in a way that maximizes business development and uncovers opportunities to improve performance. Ensures ROI and success measurements of Arbitration Team and related initiatives.

Responsibilities

What you will do

  • Leads the performance and delivery of excellent client service.
  • Oversees arbitration management and day-to-day arbitration commencements and program cases.
  • Manages team performance through regular, timely feedback as well as the formal performance review process to ensure delivery of exceptional services and engagement, motivation, and team development. Manages direct reports to ensure effective response time with commencements.
  • Integrates client expectations and administrative work required to support panelists.
  • Identifies solutions for any potential problems that impact clients, panelists, or associates.
  • Leads the implementation of arbitration programs secured by the solutions team.
  • Maintains professional and supportive relationships with panelists.
  • Effectively and articulately communicate with our associates, panelists, and clients in regards to our services, policies, and procedures.
  • Handle problems for clients and/or panelists, etc., who are sometimes angry or impatient.
  • Lift heavy objects such as large case files and exhibits.
  • Other duties as assigned within similar scope.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Management, or related field. Required
  • 4-6 years of working in management, administration, legal and client. Required
  • 1-3 years For internal candidates, proven ability as a Dispute Resolution Consultant (DRC) or higher. Required
  • Proficient and growing expertise in arbitration commencement management. (Required proficiency)
  • Knowledge of regional, national, and international panelists. (Required proficiency)
  • Computer literate and proficient in all software programs. (Required proficiency)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. (Required proficiency)
